BSN Second Degree Samples Plans of Study
RN RETURN INFORMATION
SHEET
The RN Return
options in the BSN Second Degree and BSN/MSN Programs at the
University of Pennsylvania
are designed to reflect the previous academic and clinical accomplishments of
Registered Nurses who have decided to continue their Nursing studies. An
individualized Plan of Study will be determined after evaluation of
transcripts from your previous School
of Nursing and any other colleges or
universities attended, as well as EXCELSIOR COLLEGE EXAMINATION scores.
Transfer credits will be applied according to University and School
of Nursing policies.
Returning RNs
investigating educational options are strongly encouraged to schedule an
appointment with the Office of Enrollment Management. This session will allow
us to address questions regarding your academic profile, review transcripts
for eligible course work, discuss strategies for completing Excelsior
Examinations, draft a tentative Individualized Plan of Study based upon
professional and personal needs, and develop strategies for educational and
career planning.
BSN DEGREE

An individualized plan of
study will follow appropriate course sequencing and fulfillment of
pre/co-requisites according to school policies for both the undergraduate and
