Health Informatics Minor
This minor emphasizes knowledge and skills in health and nursing informatics. Courses focus on concepts and issues surrounding technology and information management in today's rapidly changing health care environment. This minor's aim is to augment advanced practice, administrative, and leadership Master's programs.
Three courses are required and a fourth elective course can be taken from a list of informatics and systems courses across the University.
This will meet the education requirement needed to apply for the National Certification exam in Informatics (offered by the ANCC).
