U.S. News & World Report Rankings
The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing was named the top-ranked private university in the nation for 2008 in recent polling by U.S. News & World Report, placing the SoN third following the University of Washington and the University of California at San Francisco, BOTH PUBLICLY-SUPPORTED UNIVERSITIES. Penn has maintained this ranking since 2003. All nursing specialties evaluated were ranked in the top FIVE— including three considered the best in the nation— reflecting the dedication and scholarship of Penn Nursing faculty.
